Throughout this year, as we develop our corporate wellness initiatives, we would like to shine a spotlight on our team members who embody personal health and fitness. Today, meet Jennifer Lo, OTR and Director of Rehab at one of our sites in Denver, Co.
Jennifer completed the Moab Red Hot 55k on February 19th. Moab, Utah, or the redrock country of southern Utah, is renowned for its beautiful and unforgiving landscapes, which have been forever immortalized in films like City Slickers II, Thelma and Louise and Warner Brothers’ Wile E. Coyote cartoons.
The 34 mile race offered Jennifer extreme challenges from weather (ice and high winds in the morning to high heat and more high winds in the late afternoon) to near-vertical accents up slick rock faces. Jennifer finished 20th in her age group with an amazing time of 7:18:35. Despite the enormous challenges she said it was an “awesome race” and she would recommend it to everyone.
This past weekend Jennifer tackled the Salt Lake City marathon on April 16th. She has marathons or ultra-marathons planned for every month through September. And on top of all of that, she hopes to complete an Ironman challenge by the end of the year!
Jennifer’s hard work and determination stands as a wonderful example to us all. She finds the time to do something she loves all while maintaining a busy work schedule. So, congratulate Jennifer on a job well done!
