2021 virtual Symposium conference

Infinity Rehab will host its annual Symposium in a one-day conference May 22, 2021. This year’s virtual Symposium conference is full of courses to help you grow your leadership skills, clinical skills, and more. Symposium will have all the features you know and love and special virtual integrations newly added for 2021.

Deborah Jeffries will present at Symposium

Deborah Jeffries, SHRM-CP, PHR, CPC, is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute and has 28 years’ experience in the human resources field.  Deborah is also a Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) through the International Guild of Professional Consultants.

She is the editor of HR Answers’ monthly newsletter, Advantage, and as a consultant, she works with clients on their handbooks, policy manuals, employee relations, recruitment processes, employment, compliance, and most often their training needs. Deborah’s past experience includes recruiting, training, education, sales, and marketing. She holds a BS in psychology and a teaching certificate from Willamette University.

Additionally, she has served as adjunct faculty to Marylhurst University and Portland State University, teaching business students key elements of human resources. Deborah is an active member of the Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA) and has served as Chapter President of her local human resources association. She is a past board member of both the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)’s Oregon State Council and SHRM Area V, which includes Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

At the conference, Deborah will present a course titled Emotional Intelligence.

Martha Teater joins the conference

Martha Teater, MA, LMFT, LCAS, LPC, has been a practicing therapist for over 30 years. She has been in private practice and has worked in such settings as primary integrated care, outpatient substance treatment, skilled nursing care, home health, free clinic, and in a medication-assistance program. She has published over 175 articles in newspapers and magazines and is coauthor of Overcoming Compassion Fatigue: A Practical Resilience Workbook. She has provided hundreds of trainings in all 50 states and internationally. She specializes in helping people stay well and healthy in challenging work, while creating workplaces that support those efforts.
At the conference, Martha will present Sustaining Energy and Compassion in Challenging Work.
