COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Valley Vista Care Center at Sandpoint
Located moments from the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and shadowed by the Selkirk Mountain Range sits Valley Vista Care Center of Sandpoint. It is a Christian-based, not-for-profit community and has served the area for over 20 years. Valley Vista Sandpoint provides long-term care, skilled care, and therapy services, as well as a behavioral care unit. The quaint community features 73 certified beds. The team upholds a strong commitment to quality care, evidence-based practice, and outstanding outcomes.
The community features a large therapy gym, thanks in part to a generous Elks grant. They are also 5-time winners of the L. Jean Schoonover Excellence in Caring award.
