For Immediate Release: 01/19/2022

TUALATIN, Ore. – Infinity Rehab, a therapy and rehab services company, is excited to announce a new leadership position within their team, the senior therapist.

JoLynn Munro, President, first shared the news with employees in an internal company newsletter on January 13, 2022. Approximately 70 senior therapist positions will be initially offered.

This leadership position is open to therapists of all disciplines: physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. The senior therapist at Infinity Rehab is responsible for the value of rehabilitation care provided to the patients under their care, as well as reviewing the care delivered by others. They are also responsible for a host of other job functions, including operational performance, peer development, and quality assurance.

“I am super excited about this change in our organization because it brings clinical decision-making and support for the full clinical process to the front and center of our daily work,” noted Patty Scheets, Vice President of Quality and Clinical Outcomes. “The senior therapist role provides a great opportunity for therapists to work at the top of their license and grow deeper in their understanding of the intricacies of clinical care.”

Stacey Turner, Vice President of Operations, also expressed her view on this new position: “I am energized by our decision to intentionally align clinical and operational leaders together in making the best clinical decisions for our patients.  The senior therapist role provides an opportunity for the interdisciplinary team to take a holistic approach to care coordination.  This approach is patient-centered, rooted in science and emphasizes pro-active, preventive and efficient care to achieve goals.”
