Infinity Rehab does work with Foreign-Trained Physical and Occupational Therapists who are interested in working in the United States.
U.S. Visas
The United States issues several types of visas that allow foreign-trained therapist to work in this country. Infinity Rehab works with H-1B, E-3, TN and Immigrant Visa’s. The most common method we use is the H-1B employer sponsored temporary work visa for skilled trained foreign workers. The H-1B visa is initially good for three years and can be renewed when that time expires.
Steps in the process
Foreign-Trained Physical Therapists must have successfully passed the TOEFL iBT and gained credentialing from the FCCPT. Once the Foreign-Trained Therapist successfully completes a phone interview, we will work with them to take their NPTE exam, then apply for licensing in the state they will be working in. Next, Infinity Rehab will file a visa application sponsoring their work in the U.S..
Foreign-Trained Occupational Therapists must have successfully passed the TOEFL iBT, gained credentialing and pass the exam from the NBCOT.
