Spotlight on a physical therapist
Colleen Lopp is a physical therapist (PT) in Colorado at Sunny Vista Living Center. Her love of physical therapy dates to when Colleen was just 14 years old. She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. She went through physical therapy and had a strong connection with her PT. She admired the relationship they formed and how the PT helped her reach her goals and gain her strength back.
Colleen’s work in therapy began as an undergraduate when she worked in a nursing home. She fell in love with caring for older adults. It was rewarding to her to see older adults achieve and meet their goals.
Colleen notes: “I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare and always knew I wanted to help people.”
Shen then became a physical therapist with Infinity Rehab. She felt Infinity Rehab was a great place to grow, the company had good principles, and that she could build a quality foundation with her therapy discipline.
