Meet our Leaders
Mike Billings, MS, PT, DHSC, CEEAA
President and Co-Founder
Mike Billings
Mike Billings has been in the healthcare industry since 1991 with a focus on older adult rehab for most of his career. Mike joined Infinity Rehab in 1999 and served as president in 2010, where he oversaw all operations for over 225 contracts in 15 states and 2,300 employees. He has also previously served as executive vice president of ancillaries with the Avamere Family of Companies, including Infinity Rehab, Signature Healthcare at Home, and human resources.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon, a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University, and his Doctor of Health Science degree in Leadership and Organizational Behavior from A.T. Still University.
Mike has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1992 and a member of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) since 2013. He has lectured locally and nationally on post-acute care topics, including wheelchair seating and positioning, Medicare regulations, fitness for the older adult, and telehealth. He served as an adjunct professor in the Physical Therapy program at Pacific University and received his Certification as Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) from the APTA.
Mike has held board-level positions in the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL), and the National Association of Rehabilitation Providers and Agencies (NARA).
Derek Fenwick, PT, MBA, SHRM-SCP
Vice President of People and Culture
Derek Fenwick
Derek is a physical therapist turned human resources professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in post-acute care. His unique perspective as a former practicing clinician treating older adults and his business experience as a former regional operations director guide the work he does to create an unmatched employee experience at Infinity Rehab.
Derek is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in strategic human resources and is a former board-certified specialist in geriatric physical therapy (GCS). He regularly presents to state and national audiences on topics like fostering professional development, deploying data-driven people strategies, driving employee experience and engagement, and learning in the flow of work. Derek further demonstrates his thought leadership and passion for innovation by serving as an advisor to several startup companies in the HR and AgeTech industries. Derek has been honored with several awards and recognitions, most recently being named an APTA Centennial Scholar Mentor.
Stacey Turner, MS, CCC-SLP
Vice President of Operations
Stacey Turner
Stacey Turner earned her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Over a 30-year career, she has gained extensive experience in organizational leadership in the long-term care industry as a practicing speech-language pathologist, successful business leader, and mentor.
Since joining Infinity Rehab in 2002 as an Area Rehab Director, Stacey has served as an integral part in the continued growth and success of the company. As the Vice President of Operations, she provides leadership and strategic direction and is motivated by achieving excellent clinical and financial outcomes. She is also an active member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Stacey has served as a Leadership Coach for the Infinity Rehab Leadership Academy since 2014 and has a passion for helping clinicians grow and develop exemplary leadership skills. She believes that inspirational leadership, the ability to lead in such a way that others are motivated to do a better job, is the heart of an irresistible culture.
Stacey earned her master’s degree in communication disorders from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is an active member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and serves as the West Regional Coordinator for the National Association of Rehabilitation Providers and Agencies.
Laura Cantrell, MS, PT
Vice President of Community-Based Services
Laura Cantrell
Joining Infinity Rehab in 2001, Laura Cantrell has served as a director of rehab, area rehab manager, regional director of operations, and director of outpatient services. She was appointed vice president of community-based services in 2021. She leads Infinity Rehab’s Age in Place program, benefiting from her geriatric background and rehab management skills.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in 1990 from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and Master of Science from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania in 1992. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, Laura’s clinical background includes outpatient and home health settings, as well as specialization in long-term care.
Patty Scheets, PT, DPT, NCS
Vice President of Quality and Compliance
Patty Scheets
Patty Scheets brings a rich clinical experience to Infinity Rehab. She has provided clinical leadership in a variety of settings. In each of these settings, Patty worked to implement a systematic approach to managing movement system problems in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal patients. She has focused much of her energy on developing and implementing strategies for applying evidence in practice.
Her patient care experience began in acute rehabilitation and acute neuromedicine and neurosurgery care. It was in this environment at Washington State University in St. Louis, Missouri, surrounded by expert clinicians and physical therapy educators and researchers, that she developed her commitment to understanding her patients’ movement problems and integrating what was being learned from research into practice. Patty and her colleagues developed and published a system of Movement System Diagnoses for patients with neuromuscular conditions to describe patterns of movement problems seen in neuromuscular patients.
Before joining Infinity Rehab, Patty served as the national clinical specialist for a national home health and hospice company. In this role, she gained valuable experience in implementing advanced clinical strategies on a large scale.
Among her immense clinical experience, Patty is dedicated aiding Infinity Rehab clinicians in their professional growth. She developed and launched the Clinical Academy in August 2020, a six-month virtual immersion into the best-evidence elements of care which constitute the Infinity Rehab clinical model.
Patty also serves as the President of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Mark Wilhelm, MS
Vice President of Sales
Mark Wilhelm
Mark Wilhelm joined Infinity Rehab as the Denver-based regional sales director in February of 2010. He also served as national sales director before assuming the role of Vice President of Sales.
Mark’s extensive background in pharmaceutical and medical sales has helped Infinity Rehab expand into new territories and broaden its client base. During his career, Mark has led national sales efforts for recognized brands, including Johnson & Johnson and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Biology from Denver University.
He calls Evergreen, Colorado home where he and his family enjoy a variety of activities and outdoor sports such as golfing, fishing, and hiking. Mark has climbed 42 of the 54 14,000 ft. peaks in Colorado.
Tyler Keeter, PT, DPT, MHA
Regional Director of Operations
Tyler Keeter
Immediately after earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania, Tyler Keeter knew he wanted to expand his ability to effect change in healthcare beyond that of a practicing therapist. He enrolled in a Masters in Healthcare Administration program while practicing full-time at a hospital in Billings, Montana. Following this, Tyler spent two years in a Hospital Administration Fellowship with Providence Health & Services in Oregon where he learned a system-based approach to healthcare organizational leadership through his mentor, a Malcom Baldrige Quality Award winner.
Tyler then moved to Colorado and joined Infinity Rehab in 2008. In January 2009, he launched and oversaw the implementation of the first three Colorado operations for Infinity Rehab, and has since opened more than 60 Infinity Rehab sites in seven states.
His special interests include person-centered rehabilitation and the alignment of post-acute care settings. Tyler is a certified Eden Alternative Associate and has spoken at several national and regional association conferences, including the American Healthcare Association, Eden International, and Leading Age.
