Our first Shining Star this issue is Jennette Stebbins, PTA. Jennette works at Shasta View Nursing Center in Weed, California.
This therapist is particularly skilled at: coaching and encouraging the patients to participate fully in their therapy experience. Jennette is incredible at building rapport and confidence in the patients so they are willing to try and complete difficult tasks.
I have seen this therapist “go the extra mile” by: following up on care plans with nursing to make sure the patient is getting their medications, nutrition, or water intake. Jennette continues to check in with patients throughout their stays at Shasta View so the patient is able to participate at their highest level of engagement.
