Our Shining Star this issue is Colleen Macbeth, OT. Colleen works at Avamere Rehabilitation of Coos Bay in Coos Bay, Oregon and Myrtle Point Care Center in Myrtle Point, Oregon.

Here is what her nominator had to say.

This therapist is particularly skilled at: recognizing when there is a need for leadership and stepping into that space without hesitation. Colleen recently covered as DOR for two sites when the primary DOR left on a sudden medical leave. She immediately sprung into action to line up staffing coverage so that patients in both sites could receive treatment. In addition, she communicated promptly and effectively with two ARDs to let them know her plans for treatment coverage and customer service. Colleen emulates all of Infinity’s core values, but she excels at embracing change and being an innovative team player. Her willingness to take on leadership challenges is driven by her passion to improve the quality of people’s lives.
