We’re pleased to share that employees now have the option to add a preferred name, pronoun(s), and/or profile picture to their Paycom profile.
These optional updates are encouraged and designed to help personalize your profile and enhance how you’re represented within our system and to your manager and team.
Because being an inclusive company means getting to know you, not making assumptions, and recognizing you the way you want. We ask you to share these 3 things with us:
PREFERRED NAME
When you add your preferred name to Paycom, it updates how you show up in the system, making it more personalized for you and others who work with you. This is especially important if you prefer something other than your legal first name. But it also helps us know that we’re getting it right if you add your legal name in this field if that’s what you like to go by.
PRONOUNS
A person’s pronouns are the second most personal descriptor after their name. Ask yourself how many times someone has used a pronoun to refer to you today. Chances are this has happened countless times. Now, imagine that your coworker calls you by the wrong pronoun. That would be hard. Asking about and using a person’s pronouns is essential to affirming their identity and showing respect.
PROFILE PHOTO
Because we love seeing your face! This helps home office team members, new managers, and other visual learners recognize you and get to know you better. Seeing your face in Paycom also helps your coworkers build a connection and relationship with you more quickly, giving you a better overall employee experience.
