Open Enrollment 2025: Passive for Most, Action Required for Voluntary Benefits and FSA/DCA

Our annual open enrollment will take place June 1–14, 2025. This year’s enrollment is passive, meaning your current medical, dental, and vision elections will automatically roll over unless you make changes.

Note: an incorrect notification from Paycom was emailed on 5/28/25 that stated open enrollment was live; this was sent by mistake and we apologize for the confusion.

However, action is required if you want to enroll in or continue:

  • Voluntary benefits (life, disability, accident, and critical illness plans)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and/or Dependent Care Accounts (DCA)

These plans will not carry over automatically—you must re-enroll during the open enrollment window.

What’s New for 2025?

  • Voluntary Benefits Now Through Lincoln Financial:
    • Unum plans are ending. All voluntary benefits must be re-elected through Lincoln Financial via Paycom.
    • Enjoy new features like a $50 wellness screening benefit on Accident and Critical Illness plans.
    • Take advantage of guaranteed issue Voluntary Life—up to $150,000 for employees and $30,000 for spouses (no medical questions)—available only during open enrollment.
    • Hospital Indemnity and Whole Life coverage will be discontinued. You may keep existing Unum plans via direct pay (details will be mailed to you).
  • Dental Carrier Change:
    • We’re moving from MetLife to Lincoln Financial with no plan design changes, but a larger provider network and higher out-of-network reimbursements.
  • Prescription Coverage Update:
    • Pharmacy benefits are now administered by RxBenefits, with Express Scripts remaining as the PBM.
    • Minimal changes expected, but be sure to update your pharmacy with new PCN & Bin details from your updated RGA member ID card.

You Need to Participate in Open Enrollment If:

  • You want to add, remove, or change benefits.
  • You are enrolling for the first time.
  • You want to add or remove dependents.
  • You want to change your HSA contribution (this can also be done any time of year).
  • You want to enroll in or renew an FSA or DCA.
  • You want to enroll in or continue any voluntary benefits (Lincoln Financial).

Pro Tip:

  • Fill prescriptions before the end of June to ensure a seamless transition to RxBenefits.
