Listening, Learning, and Moving Forward Together

By Derek Fenwick, VP, People & Culture

This year, more Infinity employees than ever participated in our Great Place to Work® survey. What they told us was encouraging: not only did our Great Place to Work score increase from 85% to 88%, but many of the areas employees identified as priorities last year showed meaningful improvement.

I’m excited to share that Infinity Rehab has once again earned Great Place to Work® Certification, our fourth certification and another important milestone in our journey to build an exceptional workplace for every employee.

When we reviewed last year’s results, we committed to listening carefully and taking action. This year’s data suggests that employees are seeing progress.

Among the most significant improvements were in areas connected to communication, transparency, and leadership:

  • Management keeps me informed about important issues and changes (+6.1 points)
  • I can ask management any reasonable question and get a straight answer (+5.9 points)
  • Management genuinely seeks and responds to suggestions (+4.4 points)
  • Management involves people in decisions (+4.1 points)

Most Improved Areas

  • Facilities contribute to a good working environment (+7.1)
  • People are paid fairly for the work they do (+6.4)
  • Management keeps me informed (+6.1)
  • I can ask management questions and get a straight answer (+5.9)
  • My work has special meaning (+5.7)

These gains matter because they reflect employees feeling better informed, more included in decisions, and more connected to leadership than they did a year ago. Trust is built through those everyday interactions.

The survey also reinforced many of the strengths that continue to define Infinity Rehab. Employees expressed strong confidence in the fairness and inclusiveness of our culture, with exceptionally high scores for fair treatment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, and age. Employees also continue to find meaning in their work, value the relationships they have with their colleagues, and take pride in the care and service we provide.

At the same time, we remain committed to transparency about our opportunities. Areas related to compensation, benefits, career advancement, and sharing in organizational success remain among our lowest-scoring survey items. While compensation and benefits remain important focus areas, it was encouraging to see meaningful improvement in employee perceptions of pay fairness compared to last year. Your feedback gives us a clear roadmap for where we should concentrate our efforts moving forward.

One of my favorite aspects of this survey is that it reminds us that building a great workplace is never a finished project. Every year provides new insights. Every response helps us better understand the employee experience. And every conversation creates an opportunity to improve.

Earning Great Place to Work® Certification for a fourth time is something we can all celebrate.

More meaningful, though, is what the survey tells us: when employees share feedback and leaders act on it, we move forward together.

Thank you for helping make Infinity a great place to work.
