This week, we would like to introduce you to Viet Le, an occupational therapist and the Director of Rehabilitation at Hillside Health and Rehabilitation in Montana.

  • One thing you cannot tell just by looking at or speaking with me is….

I work 3 jobs being a single father- I get to be a DOR/OT, waiter, and I get to teach my 8 year-old daughter’s taekwondo class.

  • This is important for me to share because…

No matter how much we do, we can always do more, and we all wear many hats. We all have different backgrounds, and different roles.

  •  I share my culture at work by…

Thanking the vets that I work with, with special thanks to the Vietnam vets- as my family had direct and positive contact with them (I understand this isn’t the case with all). I am so blessed that many of my patients are also my regulars at the Chinese restaurant I work at.

You can get involved with this project too! If you are interested in sharing a little of your story, click here. After two years of masks, we’d love to see your faces! If you feel comfortable, please add a picture of yourself. Do you work with someone who inspires/encourages/influences your personal growth? Nominate them for the Infinity Influencer Cultural Corner spotlights by emailing Hoku Okumura or Byrony Treser.
