What Is a “Fair Price”?
A Fair Price is the reasonable amount you should expect to pay for a medical service. The tool uses a simple color system to guide your decision:
- Green = At or below Fair Price (best value)
- Yellow = Slightly above Fair Price
- Red = Higher-cost option
Choosing a green-rated provider can lead to significant savings—sometimes thousands of dollars—for the same procedure.
