First, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to our recent FT/PT employee survey. We exceeded our goal of 75% with a return rate of 77%. I can’t tell you how helpful this is to have reliable results we can review and take action from. I know your time is limited, and your input is greatly appreciated.

Now on to the results. I will summarize a few key insights and recommendations here and tell you how we’re using the results to drive our next steps. I encourage you to also dive into the full results in the attached document.

Overall, the survey results suggest that we’re doing a lot of things right. Specific highlights include:

  • High employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Strong supervisory support
  • High confidence in senior leadership
  • Majority of employees feel informed about company news and special events

Along with these positives, we found several opportunity areas. For example:

  • Recognition: Only 71.9% of employees received recognition or praise in the past seven days, indicating room for improvement
  • Sense of belonging: 75% of employees feel a sense of belonging at Infinity Rehab, indicating an opportunity for improvement
  • Concerns about competitive compensation, high productivity demands, job stability, and technological challenges negatively impact overall satisfaction

We reviewed the survey results at our August strategic planning meeting. During a breakout session, we discussed 4 themes that stood out in the comments from people who were less likely to recommend Infinity Rehab as a place to work. These 4 areas include:

  • Staffing/burnout
  • Low pay/benefits
  • Concerns about company instability
  • Productivity pressure

During our breakout, we asked, “How will we attack these 4 key areas to go from good to great?” Our breakout session produced many tangible ideas that we can do to start moving these challenge areas. From here, I will make recommendations on specific actions we can take in our strategic plan, beginning at our senior leadership team meeting later this month.

Thank you again for your candid input on our employee survey. You have my commitment that we will use these results to drive action in the areas where its needed, as we work to achieve our goal to be a great place to work for everyone who works at Infinity.
