With a view of the Boise foothills, you will find the Idaho State Veterans Home-Boise. The facility offers a 36-bed residential/ domiciliary unit and a 122-bed skilled nursing care unit including a 17-bed special care unit for veterans with Alzheimer’s disease or related conditions. They have received the Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Surveys.
Nestled in a park-like setting with a panoramic view of nearby rolling hills, the Idaho State Veteran’s Home in Lewiston provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for our veterans and their spouses. They feature 66 beds. The community has been honored with the Bronze Quality Award from the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). They have also received the Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Surveys.
Idaho State Veterans Home Post Falls is a newer community opened in 2022. It is a 64-bed skilled nursing facility which has a centralized community center, chapel, therapy room, dining room, sports club with big screen televisions, multiple common areas, and a Bistro.
Idaho is a hidden gem when it comes to activities. Also known as the Gem State, there are wineries, cideries, distilleries, and breweries located throughout the state. Idaho also features hot springs, state parks, and plenty of skiing. Idaho features many waterfalls and even gives you a chance to see the Northern Lights.
Located moments from the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and shadowed by the Selkirk Mountain Range sits Valley Vista Care Center of Sandpoint. It is a Christian-based, not-for-profit community and has served the area for over 20 years. Valley Vista Sandpoint provides long-term care, skilled care, and therapy services, as well as a behavioral care unit. The quaint community features 73 certified beds. The community is also a 5-time winner of the L. Jean Schoonover Excellence in Caring Award.
With sweeping views of mountains close to the St. Maries River and Highway 3, you will find Valley Vista Care Center of St. Maries. It has served the area for over 30 years. Valley Vista St. Maries provides long-term care, skilled care, and therapy services, as well as a 21-bed behavioral care unit. They also offer independent and assisted living apartments. The quaint community features 74
certified beds.
