This week, we would like to introduce you to Nancy Calhoon (she, her, hers) who works as an Executive Assistant at Infinity’s Home Office.

One thing you cannot tell just by looking at or speaking with me is…

My life is richer having lived among others with different customs, traditions, foods, lifestyles, and achievements than my own.  Since childhood, I am amazed at how often circumstances allowed me to experience, accept and embrace someone else’s culture/lifestyle. I carried this forward with my own children and gave them experiences to understand the individuality of others.

This is important for me to share because…

Though each of us human, our culture and the way we choose to journey through life makes us unique. It is part of our identity.  It is one ingredient in the larger recipe.  Life without the uniqueness and diversity of those around us would be tasteless, colorless, and bland.

You can get involved with this project too! If you are interested in sharing a little of your story, click here. After two years of masks, we’d love to see your faces! If you feel comfortable, please add a picture of yourself. Do you work with someone who inspires/encourages/influences your personal growth? Nominate them for the Infinity Influencer Cultural Corner spotlights by emailing Hoku Okumura or Byrony Treser.
