COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Shalom Park in Aurora, Colorado
Located just off Highway 83 near Cherry Creek State Park you will find Shalom Park. This community has a friendly team of five therapists across all disciplines, as well as a rehab aide. The facility features 30 private beds and 135 certified beds. They are proud of their 5-star CMS rating from Medicare.org.
Demonstrating its dedication to improving the physical lives of its residents, Shalom Park secured a $12,000 Colorado Garden Foundation grant to update its outdoor campus landscape with custom-raised gardening beds for elder accessibility. They are also proud recipients of A Place for Mom “Best of Senior Living” Award as well as being a high-performing Best Nursing Home by U.S. News and World Report.
The community has an expansive gym which includes a Litegait machine.
